NWMG providers have admitting privileges with Community Medical Center-Clovis and Community Regional Medical Center-Fresno.

Co-pays are a fee that many insurance companies require an insured person to pay for certain medical services (such as a physician’s office visit).  Because NWMG is contracted with your insurance company we are required to collect a co-pay each time you are seen.  For our patient’s convenience, NWMG does accept all major credit cards as well as checks and cash.

NWMG accepts a variety of insurances.  To ensure our providers take your insurance, it is best that you call your insurance company or login to your insurance website to see what providers are in your network.

Insurance coverage varies from plan to plan.  Refer to your plan documents, or contact your insurance plan for coverage specific to your group.

The only NW physicians – Dr. Kim and Dr. Alper, that are contracted with Medi-Cal, specifically Sante Anthem Medi-Cal, are no longer open to new patients.

NWMG is not a clinic therefore; our offices require an appointment to be seen. NWMG Urgent Care does take walk-in patients

Becoming a new patient at NWMG is easy!  Contact our New Patient Coordinator at 277.6524.  She will assist in getting you all set up as new patient.

Call our New Patient Coordinator at 277.6524 she will walk you through choosing which of our providers is the best fit for you.

If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, notify our office at least 24 hours in advance.  If you are running late, you may have to reschedule the appointment for a later time.

Call the office and inform the staff as soon as possible. Missing an appointment wastes time that could be used to assist another patient. If you frequently miss appointments, we may ask you to seek care elsewhere.

We ask that your bring your current insurance card, picture ID, and any forms that you may need completed. Failure to bring forms completed may result in your appointment being rescheduled or at a minimum, a longer wait time.
It is also advised that you bring a list of all medications you are taking to give to the physician at each visit.

If you haven’t received your insurance card we ask that you notify your plan administrator or insurance company directly and have them provide you with the subscriber number, group number, effective date of coverage, co-pay amount and address where claims are to be sent. This information will help us expedite the check-in process, as well as provide our billing department the necessary information needed to bill your insurance appropriately. Please note, without an insurance card you will be asked to sign a guarantor form agreeing to pay for all medical services rendered.

For security reasons and for your protection from identity theft, we require picture ID to verify that you are who you say you are.

Yes, NWMG has weekend hours in our Urgent Care. NWMG Urgent Care is open Sat & Sun, 9:00AM – 3:00PM.
NWMG Pediatricians see pediatric patients in UC on Saturday, 8:30AM – 11:30AM.

NWMG has a doctor on call for after hour illnesses. If you or a family member is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately. If you need to reach the doctor on call please call 221.4043, (pediatric doctor on call is 221.4552) and our after hours exchange will have the physician call you back. If you have a block on your phone we ask that you remove it so the physician can get in contact with you. Please note that the doctor on call is for non-life threatening emergencies and to provide our patients with advice that will help make them comfortable until he/she can be seen in our office. Prescriptions will not be given without first being seen in our office.

When getting well can’t wait, use the NWMG Urgent Care.  Our urgent care provides services on a walk-in basis.
Emergency rooms are not the fastest or most cost-effective choice when you need immediate health care, and often it can take days to get in to see a primary care physician.  You could wait hours in the ER for less serious health concerns, and that’s too much time and money lost. NWMG Urgent Care is the ideal alternative for your health care needs. We offer extended hour access for acute illness and injury care that is either beyond the scope or availability of the typical primary care practice, (no x-ray on site).  NWMG Urgent Care offers same-day care so you can get back to feeling better sooner.

NWMG Urgent Care only does Sports Physicals. Sports physicals are available during regular UC hours. Pediatric Sports Physicals can be done by scheduling an appointment without Pediatric Department at 271-6302 if you are already a patient of NW Pediatrics. Pediatric Sports Physicals are scheduled after 4pm M-F and 9a-11a Saturday morning. Pediatric Sports Physicals can also be done on a walk-in basis in our UC during regular UC hours.

You can call our billing office for assistance, 559.271.6310.  Our billing office will only speak with the patient directly.  Unless, an authorization to disclose information is completed naming whom the patient gives NWMG permission to speak with.
